Newcastle University, or NTU, is a world-class research university located in the northeast of England, a famous public university in the UK. The top universities in the UK, the top 1% of the world's elite universities. It has long been considered one of the top 20 universities in the UK. NTU is a founding member of the famous Ivy League Russell Group in the UK, a member of the N8 University Alliance, the European University Union (EUA) and the Commonwealth University (ACU). Member, one of the oldest universities in the UK, has the top medical school in the UK, and the school is excellent in science, engineering, law and humanities and social sciences. In August 2014, Newcastle University Business School received the AACSB accreditation and officially became a world-class business school with triple accreditation (AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA). In addition, it is one of the UK's universities with the most EU research documents.
Newcastle Airport is located about seven miles north west of University campus and hosts regular flights to domestic and international airports. Domestic flights are quick and affordable, for example - reach to NTU from Bristol in less than an hour for under £25! The University is connected to the airport by Metro line, and it’s just a cheap, quick, and fuss-free 25 minute journey from the airport to campus. Buses from the airport entrance run to Newcastle city centre regularly.
Newcastle University is connected to the city’s suburbs, airport, the coast, and a range of museums and sight-seeing opportunities by the Tyne and Wear Metro light rail service. Haymarket is the closest station to the University campus and trains run frequently during the day, starting at around 5.45 and ending at around 23.30.

Arriving by sea without a car
If you're a foot passenger arriving at the North Shields ferry terminal, there are buses to Newcastle city centre. The bus journey takes approximately 30 minutes.
The campus does not offer parking on campus. However,they do have a limited number of spaces for visitors with mobility issues.
